High School Youth Group ("Senior Highs")
Who are the Senior Highs?
The Kirk welcomes all high school students (*grades 9-12) to be part of the Senior High Youth Group. This fun-loving group meets to learn, laugh and build strong friendships as they follow their journeys of faith from their teens into young adulthood. Our Youth Director, Kevin Krawczyk, leads this group along with dedicated volunteer youth leaders, sharing their love of Jesus Christ first-hand with our Senior Highs in a casual, relaxed setting. Mission and Outreach is also a central focus of Senior Highs.
When and where?
The Senior Highs meet during the school year (September-May) on Sunday afternoons, usually from 4:00 - 5:30 p.m. (check calendar for complete details), either in the newly-renovated Kirk Youth Room (east end of the building, just off Heritage Hall), or at a designated off-site location (such as homes of the Senior High members, local coffee houses, restaurants). The group also enjoys outings and special activities (concerts, movies, theatre performances, sledding) throughout the year. For more information, you can reach Kevin at kkrawczyk@kirkinthehills.org.

The Senior Highs also participate in a number of local mission and outreach opportunities throughout the year, as well as an annual mission trip each summer. Nearly all of our Senior Highs are also actively involved in the life of the Kirk as teaching assistants, acolytes, and choir members.
Looking for a sure-fire way to get your high school students to finish homework? Have them join Kirk Senior Highs - they will get it done, because they'll never want to miss a Sunday afternoon gathering!
