Small Groups

Saturday Morning Small Group for Men"As I watched them, I was amazed at the connection they obviously shared - it made
me feel a little wishful for some of what they
had together."*

Ever had that feeling? We are "wired" to want
to connect with others; that's why it is such a marvelous blessing that we do! Our small
group ministry is intended to draw more of us into familiar circles within our church family.

What exactly are small groups, and why should I belong?

Small groups are made up of 8-12 people that meet regularly, usually outside of the church, often in a member's home. Groups may be:

- sermon-based
- book studies
- Bible studies
- service or mission related

 Small groups may gather:

- geographically
- by life stages (singles, couples, parents of young children, empty nesters)
- by support needs (divorce, grief, care givers)
- by interests (tennis, knitting, dinner and a movie)

Small groups can help to:

- transform someone unfamiliar into a treasured friend
- schedule time for church friends that you regret not seeing more often
- make that Sunday to Monday connection in deeper faith living
- fill the gap you may be experiencing but can't quite identify

The potential for different types of small groups is as infinite as the imagination, but the goal of growing meaningful fellowship within our church family is universal.

How do I become involved with a small group?
