Temporary Supply Associate Pastor - Children, Youth & Families
Karen Ferguson Carl is serving as a Temporary Supply Pastor with responsi-bilities in the areas of Youth and Family Ministries, Women’s Ministry and Stephen Ministry. Karen also shares responsibility for worship leadership
and pastoral care. She began her duties on January 1, 2010. She comes to
us from her part-time position at the Presbytery of Detroit as Consultant for Congregational Transformation. She was engaged in this work for five years, serving as coach, coordinator, speaker and catalyst for congregations seeking new directions and new forms of ministry and mission. She brings experience and knowledge in the areas of congregational transformation, the missional church and coaching for change, as well as previous ministry experience in youth and family ministries, congregational fellowship and mission, and
Stephen Ministry.
Karen is a 1988 graduate of the College of Wooster and a 1993 graduate of Princeton Theological Seminary. Prior parish experience includes positions as Associate Pastor with varying responsibilities in large congregations in Champaign, IL, Albuquerque, NM and Venice, FL.
