Stay Connected to the Kirk this Summer!
Where will your travels take you this summer? Why not take Norman with you to Petoskey? Maybe take Karen to the U.P.? And how about taking Keith to the Thumb? You really can stay connected with your pastors and all the great things that are happening at the Kirk this summer with kirkinthehills.org!
No need to ever miss a sermon - with an internet connection you can always watch the weekly sermons directly from our website's Multimedia Center. With internet access for even a short period of time, you can download individual sermons from our Multimedia Center right to your computer by clicking the red download arrow to the right of each sermon file - then you can watch the sermons later at your convenience - without an internet connection!
Keep in touch with summer volunteer opportunities for when
you are back in town (Habitat for Humanity, Camp Hosanna, Vacation Bible School). Plan your calendar to be with us for these important events! You'll also find key announcements listed on the home page under Kirk News Headlines.
Read the weekly service bulletins to learn more about our special events (like the Carillon Series), guest preachers and all the latest weeekly bulletin announcements that keep you informed while you're away. The service bulletin is posted to our website on Friday afternoons, accessed by clicking on "Bulletins and Kirk News" in the vertical navigation menu on the home page.
View photo galleries of summer events and activities (such as the Women of the Kirk's Summer Picnic and our youth mission trips) and download pictures right to your computer with one click! Once the photos are on your computer, you can make prints or forward them via email. Teens can download and send pictures from the mission trips to Grandma and Grandpa!
So if your summer plans take you to the lake, the beach, "up north" or even half way around the world, you can always stay connected to the Kirk with a computer and an internet connection! If you have any questions, contact the webmaster at webmaster@kirkinthehills.org.
So WWJS? (Where Would Jesus Surf?) The same place you'll surf all summer - kirkinthehills.org!
Who will "stay connected" with the Kirk from the greatest distance away this summer? We would love to hear how the website has helped you keep in touch with the Kirk this summer! Take a photo of you or a family member surfing kirkinthehills.org during your travels and send your photo (along with comments and details about the location of your photo) to webmaster@kirkinthehills.org.
