Prayer Cordon

The Kirk is a family of faith that prays with each other and for each other. This intercessory prayer
group has been a part of the Kirk’s ministry since the early days of the Kirk’s history. Every Tuesday morning at 9:30 a.m., this group gathers in the Fireside Room to pray for those in need and/or for those who have made specific prayer requests. All Kirk members are invited to attend and become a part of this very important ministry. Contact Tremetre Young for details at (248) 865-9366.

Saturday Morning Breakfast Group

This men's small group meets every Saturday morning at 7:30 a.m. at the Orchard Grill on Orchard
Lake Road in Keego Harbor to enjoy breakfast together as they study God’s Word and its practical
implication for their lives. The group recently began a study of the Gospel of John. Newcomers
are welcome – contact Sam Clark for details at ssclark3@comcast.net.

Daily News/Good News

This group provides an opportunity every Sunday for a discussion of a current news headline
through the lens of faith that is emailed ahead of time to the group each Thursday. The Daily News
and Good News is scheduled at 10:30 a.m., which allows participants to worship at 9:00 and enjoy
fellowship in the coffee hour before gathering together in the Upper Room. New topics each week
make this a great choice to participate in as your busy summer schedule allows. If you’d like to
begin receiving the weekly email to learn of Sunday’s topic ahead of time, please email
amc@kirkinthehills.org.

Bible Study with Russia
Thanks to Skype technology, we are able to share a Bible study with Central Baptist Church in
Moscow over the internet on Thursday mornings at 9:30 a.m. This summer the group will be
discussing Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount. Although seating is limited, all are invited. For more
information please contact Bob O’Hara at oharabob@yahoo.com or Sam Clark at
ssclark3@comcast.net.

Sunday Breakfast Bible Study

Each Sunday the group meets at 8:00 a.m. in the Upper Room for a light breakfast and a preview of
the scripture for the morning sermon. As we are few in numbers, our questions and topics are
often candid and probing. All Kirk members and friends are invited. For more information,
contact Sam Clark at ssclark3@comcast.net.
