Easter Resurrection Eggs

Children and families are invited to attend a “Create your own Resurrection Eggs” event on Sunday, March 26th at 10:00 a.m., immediately following Sunday School, in the Abbey Lounge. Families will make a set of 12 eggs, each with its own scripture and “prop” that retell the story of Easter in a childlike and fun-filled way. Children and families will be encouraged to use these eggs throughout the Lenten Season, Holy Week and on Easter Sunday as a way to tell the story of Jesus, the events of Holy Week and the miracle of the resurrection. These can be used at home in an “Easter Egg Hunt”, underscoring the true meaning of Easter for children and adults alike.
All supplies will be provided by Children’s Ministry. Please register by March 15th.
