Think you know the Old Testament? Think again! Since time began, ancient peoples gathered and told stories of how the world began, stories of their heroes, their victories and their failures—trying to make sense of the world around them, of who God is and who they are in relationship to God and to one another.
This Old Testament study will help you understand this story of the Jewish people and their distinctive understanding of God, as we study it in the context of the world in which it was written. Through this study, you will be grounded in a new appreciation for this amazing collection of ancient texts and the faith that they represent.
