Update from Rev. Angela Ryo – Staying Connected during COVID-19:

For the time being, the Christian Formation Team at the Kirk has successfully moved all of our Bible studies, classes, and Small Groups to an online video conferencing platform called Zoom.
All you have to do is click on any of the Zoom links during the specified time either on your computer or phone from the comfort of your home, and you’ll be able to zoom into a Bible study or a Small Group! If you have never used Zoom before and would like to learn more about it, you can read up on it here.
Please email if you’d like to practice using it before any of the meetings. I’d be more than happy to go over Zoom with you! We’re delighted and grateful that we can be community together during these uncertain and chaotic times. Let’s stand tall and continue to grow together in Christ!
We Belong Together,
Pastor Angela

If you are prompted to enter a passcode, it’s “Kirk” with capital K.

“And on the seventh day God finished all the work he had done, and he rested.” Many of us long for sabbath in our busy and chaotic lives—to ground us an anchor us. But what is Sabbath? In this class we will explore scripture through the lens of Sabbath and hopefully gain a deeper understanding of what it can mean to experience true rest with God. We will be reading Wrestling with Rest by Nathan Stucky as a way for us to engage in the discussion of rest.

When: Thursdays at 10:30-11:30 a.m. from January 7 to February 11 (6 weeks)

Facilitator: Pastor Kelsey
