Advent by Candlelight

Advent is a time for Christians to remember how the world waited in anticipation of God’s promised Messiah to come. 

Advent by Candlelight is an annual event designed for women of the Kirk and friends to celebrate Advent, by gathering while focusing on Jesus and the true meaning of Christmas.

Our program this year will be held entirely in the Refectory. We'll start with a "tour" of the tables, followed by refreshments and fellowship. We will then begin our devotional time with readings, prayer and music.

There is no charge to attend; we ask you to please bring a new and unwrapped hat, pair of mittens or gloves, socks, or underwear in any size for our students whom we support in Pontiac.

This year, Advent by Candlelight will be held on Wednesday, December 4, starting at 7:00 p.m. in the Kirk Refectory. Hostesses may register here beginning October 14. Individual guests may also register here beginning November 4.
