Bobby DeLisle

Bobby DeLisle began his musical studies at Wayne State University and received a Bachelor's in Music Education in 2010, studying with renowned teachers Max Janowski, Dan Pliscow, and Dennis Tini. In 2014, he received a Master's degree in Music Theory/Composition, studying with Jon Anderson and Karl Braunschweig.
As a certified music educator, Bobby has worked as a full-time public-school teacher since 2010, teaching choir, orchestra, and band to students in the metro-Detroit area. Currently, Bobby works with Birmingham Public Schools as the 5th grade orchestra teacher. In addition to his work in public schools, he has worked with youth ensembles through String Project@Wayne, the Dearborn Youth Symphony, the Detroit Institute of Music Education, and Michigan Virtual Academy. In his free time, Bobby performs as a freelance jazz bassist. Bobby and his wife, Haley, are also raising 2 future musicians, Ginny and Hazel.
