CARE House of Oakland County

During the holiday season, since 2004 we partner with CARE House for the Angel Tree initiative to bring holiday joy to thousands of children who have been abused and neglected. During the year, on the third Tuesday each month (except June, July and August), 4–6 Kirk volunteers are needed to prepare and serve dinner to about 20–25 people at CARE House. Dinner is served from 5:30–6:00 p.m., but you can arrive as early as 4:30 p.m. and use their kitchen, or prepare the meal ahead of time at home. By serving, you are helping children who are victims of child abuse. If you have questions, please contact Nancy Waldo at dwaldo@oxfordtech.com.
