Carol Beth Litkouhi
Young Children's Choir Director
Carol Beth Litkouhi received her Bachelor of Music in Music Education and Flute Performance from Hope College in 2007. She also holds a Master of Arts in Reading and Language Arts from Oakland University.
Carol Beth has taught vocal and instrumental music within a variety of age levels and capacities. After college, she became a public school teacher and taught elementary music, grades K-5. More recently, she created and taught early childhood music classes, gave private flute and piano lessons, and served as a children's choir director before arriving at Kirk in the Hills.
Carol Beth became a member of the Kirk in 2021. She appreciates the opportunity to serve God as a flutist during worship services, while teaching Sunday School, and of course, through her role as the Young Children’s Choir Director. Carol Beth believes music is a powerful way for kids to grow closer to God, bond with friends, and lead in worship. She and her husband Sahm have two children, Leila and Daniel, who also love to share their musical gifts at church.
