Rev. Dr. Annemarie Kidder
Parish Associate
The Rev. Annemarie S. Kidder, Ph.D., is a Presbyterian minister and the new parish associate at the Kirk, responsible for Kirk West. The Rev. Kidder recently retired from fulltime pastoral ministry after thirty years and works now part-time as a chaplain at Glacier Hills/Trinity Health Senior Community in Ann Arbor. Originally from Germany, she came to the United States on a Rotary Scholarship to study journalism. She holds master's degrees from the University of the Arts, Berlin; the Journalism School at Columbia-Missouri, and the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Louisville, where she also earned a Ph.D. in systematic theology. She is the author and editor of ten books in historical theology, spirituality, and New Testament literature. Annemarie lives in Ann Arbor with her cat, Willie.
