Address: Kirk in the Hills, 1340 West Long Lake Road, Bloomfield Hills, MI US 48302
Room: Refectory

Kirk in the Hills Presbyterian Church Outreach and Mission Ministry is hosting our 6th Annual Faith & Community Leaders Breakfast on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. (doors open at 7:30 a.m.) in the Refectory at Kirk in the Hills, 1340 W. Long Lake Rd., Bloomfield Hills, MI 48302. This year’s theme, Protecting Children Together, focuses on our shared responsibility to support and safeguard the youngest members of our community.
In a community where our children's safety is our highest calling, we must confront the realities of child abuse with urgency and unity. Recognizing that prevention begins with a well-informed and connected network, we believe it is essential for clergy, public servants, educators, and community leaders to stand together as a protective shield for the vulnerable. Building on last year’s critical discussions regarding youth mental health, this year’s breakfast, Protecting Children Together, focuses on the vital mission of child abuse prevention and intervention.
We are excited to announce the following speakers for our breakfast:
- Sheriff Michael Bouchard, Oakland County Sheriff’s Office.
- Annetra Jones, Statewide Director of Family Preservation, Samaritas.
- Blythe Tyler, President and CEO, CARE House.
Following breakfast, you can attend an OPTIONAL 45-minute breakout session (approximately 9:30am - 10:15 am) on one of the following topics:
- Protecting Children Together Deep Dive: A panel of experts from Samaritas and CARE House will answer your questions.
- Teen Mental Health Update: A briefing on current trends and mental health challenges facing adolescents in our community today.
