The Kirk is excited to collaborate with other faith communities, businesses, non-profits, and educators to inspire growth in Pontiac.
We will hear the goals and vision from the city's top task force teams. They will cover workforce development, education, housing, and creating safe, thriving neighborhoods. Father Gregory Boyle, our keynote speaker, will inspire us to think outside the box. Boyle is the founder of the largest gang rehabilitation center in the world. He created Homeboy Industries to offer another way to make money for those selling drugs on the street and ultimately helped provide another way of life.
