The Daily News and The Good News

Sundays • 10:30 AM in the Upper Room and online via Zoom

The Daily News and The Good News takes a news story from the secular world and views it through the lens of scripture. The story might be ripped from that week's headline, or it might be something from the back pages of the news. We will be given a narrative of the story from The Wired Word folks, along with links to several stories on the subject from various media outlets, then a number (four or five typically) of Bible passages through which to view and discuss the story. Attendees are asked to check the politics, socio-economic biases, and cultural morals at the door, and come to the discussion with their Christian faith front and center.

This hybrid class is available both remotely and in-person. A confirmation email including a zoom invite, will be sent once the registration is complete.
