The Kirk collaborated with Life Remodeled and dozens of other non-profits, corporations and churches Friday and Saturday beautifying numerous city blocks in Detroit. Our 20 Kirk volunteers picked up trash; weed whipped, pruned, and mowed two city blocks themselves!

The Pontiac Baldwin Center kids enjoyed The Pumpkin Patch event supported by the Kirk this past Saturday morning. The Kirk's Alison Murphy works with the Baldwin Center to host at least one family event per month.

This Sunday we heard Pastor Angela preach on You've Got a Friend in Me. If you missed it, click the button below.

Our middle school group is growing and full of energy. We have enjoyed the weather that allows us to gather around the fire each week, learning how to look at ourselves though God’s eyes!

This week we are focusing on highlighting the importance of our 75th Anniversary Campaign. In March of this year, we had the opportunity to hear from nearly 300 families on their thoughts regarding the projects, plan, and scope of our Anniversary Campaign. Since its approval by Session and Trustees early this summer, we have seen an incredible outpouring of support with over $3 million pledged to date. Funds raised through this monumental effort will go towards supporting several projects that will help to establish our legacy for the next 75 years. These projects include beginning the restoration of our organ, establishing a Pastoral Endowment Fund, planting roots in the Pontiac community, investing in our youth and young adults, and taking care of our facility to ensure it is inviting for the community for years to come. To learn more about the importance of this effort watch the video include above.
