Saturday the Outreach and Mission committee took a break from our all-day retreat to enjoy a wonderful Mediterranean picnic lunch made & served by Rasha Bana & her children. Rasha is one of the Kirk Tutor Mom's we've been delivering food & other items to over the past year. Through this outreach, we have built a beautiful relationship/ friendship with her. After tasting her amazing dishes, we are now working with her to start a catering business.

Sunday Pastor Edwin shared some of our future Outreach & Mission goals with a group of Deacons, Trustees & Elders. These goals fall in line with the relationship we've been blessed to establish with Rasha and includes: Intentionally choosing outreach opportunities and organizations to work with that enable us to build stronger relationships with our community neighbors to make a greater impact in Education, Innovative Social Enterprise and addressing Poverty and the Affordable Housing Crisis.

The garden was alive with people on Sunday morning! Join us at 9 a.m. this Sunday as we close out the "Coming Back" series.

The Nineteenth Annual Spring Choir Festival was presented by the Boy’s and Girls’ Choirs on Sunday, May 23 after the 10:00 service. Many thanks to our choristers and families for their involvement in the program this past year.

Youth group has started meeting outside by the fire pit again. This week we enjoyed the nice weather with small groups and ultimate frisbee!

On Sunday, the leaders of the Kirk (our elders, deacons and trustees) went on a prayerful walk of the Kirk grounds while understanding some of the elements of our upcoming 75th anniversary campaign. Informed and excited, the members were able to see parts of the Kirk grounds that are often untrod as they envisioned together a world where every heart experiences God’s transforming love!
