Several Kirk members worked together this week with our ministry partner Hope Against Trafficking to help a survivor of human trafficking furnish an apartment as she moves out on her own!

Pictured here are Kirk West members gathering items to donate at the Treasure Chest at Fox Run Senior Living.

The Men of the Kirk (MOK) held their annual Car Show Sunday. It was a beautiful way to enjoy Father's Day with fellowship together over cars and grilled hot dogs! Join the MOK Thursday mornings at 7:30 a.m. for Sermon Talk Backs around the Kirk Bonfire down by the Lake off the west parking lot and July 30th at 11:30 a.m. for Burgers and Bats Lunch at Kirk in the Hills. For more info go to the Kirk Website under Ministries/Adults/Kirk Groups.

The Kirk hosted a BBQ dinner Father's Day after the Micah 6 service; sharing a meal with 40+ Pontiac neighbors. During the picnic, our volunteers talked to two young boys who told them their Mom had died earlier that day. The boys were comforted with hugs. Please pray that God will look out for Christian and Tony and their Grandmother too, whom they will now reside with. We will be hosting a dinner at Micah 6 the 3rd Sunday of every month at 6 p.m. All are welcome to join us! If you want to help contact Julie Walker at  .

On Sunday, Pastor Nate preached on the first petition of the Lord’s Prayer and on what we make “first” in our lives. As if on cue, a family of ducks walked through during the sermon and gave us a chance put first the beauty of God in our midst.
It was a joy to stop and watch them march through!

Dennis Curry kicked off the annual Summer Carillon Series this past weekend. Click the button below to watch the broadcast from Saturday!

Our 6-week soccer clinic for children is in full swing! Right after the Garden Club on Sunday mornings, children gather to learn and play soccer on our front lawn! If you’d like to join us, contact Pastor Angela at  .
