The Kirk Christian Formation and Outreach and Mission teams have partnered up to offer Second Servings the 3rd Sunday of every month in the Refectory. Kirk members were treated to pancakes and sausage while listening to the founder of Oakland Hope, a self sustaining Pontiac non-profit organization offering free client choice grocery experiences to those who are food insecure. Immediately following breakfast, folks were invited to help sort thru clothes to be donated to Oakland Hope Thrift Store which supports the food ministry.

This Sunday, Pastor Nate preached on Naaman the Leper. If you missed it, click the button below!

Last night’s presentation of It’s Cool in the Furnace was a success! A big THANK YOU to all our kids, including Accent Pontiac, who participated, and to everyone who came out to support them!

This week was the start of all youth programming. High school students started studies on common Christian clichés and why negative things happen in our lives. The middle school students began talking about who they are as children of God as well as where they fit into the story of the Bible. We met this week at the fire pit and it was so great being back together again!

The Kirk Seniors took a bus tour this past week to Detroit where they had a wonderful lunch downtown and took a boat ride on the Detroit River!
