Stewardship Resources - Thrivent

This workshop will focus on cultivating giving within the church. It will offer practical strategies to encourage a culture of generosity among congregants. It will explore how individuals can leave a lasting legacy—for their family, the church, and charities they care about. The workshop will also cover both the immediate impact of generosity within the church and the longer-term vision of legacy-building, giving attendees a holistic view of stewardship.

Let’s talk about your church’s communication strategy.  How are you communicating with your members, and how do you communicate to potential new members?  What about your partner organizations? What about your community?

What should you talk about? How are using your website, social media accounts, emails and e-newsletters, brochures, and more to engage your members, and welcome potential members? When should you get those messages out?  We'll go through how to look at what you are doing today, and options for creating a stronger plan. You’ll walk away with a list of ideas, tools and resources for your church to know what’s working and what’s not, and how to choose between all the options when your resources are limited.
