The Daily News & The Good News

The Kirk's summer, adult formation class, "The Daily News & The Good News" is preparing its annual spring/summer engagement. Each Sunday, beginning May 26, the class will review a recent news story--some "ripped from the headlines" of the week and others of a more human-interest nature. But each will be viewed through the lens of scripture, and of our Christian faith!
We meet in the upper room shortly after the 9 AM service winds up and will break for those attending the 11 AM service. It promises to be lively and, we hope, Holy Spirit led.
A lesson will be emailed out in advance for members to digest before coming to class if they wish. We will read selected scripture passages that relate to the story and discuss them.
